No surfing action at Crocs today – the waves are calling at Wilder!
Opting for a different path that winds through the cactus-filled terrain proves to be a scorcher under the blazing sun. Yet, the panoramic view of the spot proves worth the sweat as I snap a few shots, aiming for a fresh perspective from previous sessions. Descending back down, I reunite with Andrew & Franck, who've just arrived.
Navigating Wilder for the first time (for photography), I choose a spot to the left, hoping for some promising shots. Ollie's already in the water, exuding confidence. While Andrew and Franck position themselves higher up (for a left shot, according to Andrew), my trusty 70-300 lens ensures I'm not left out.
Overall, I manage to capture a diverse array of shots, showcasing the vibrant Caribbean hues. Plus, I've ironed out my autofocus kinks, leaving me eagerly awaiting the next swell!
